18 December Wedding @ The Legends Fort Canning
18 December marks the wedding of my cousin, Ah Teck kor kor, youngest among the 3 brothers. His second brother got married last month.
Tuesday night took a taxi down and along the way there was a float escort for Christmas. I think, would be late at the speed the floats are moving even with the police bikes escort. Luckily, the floats were heading Orchard road and at junctions the bikes stopped the traffic for floats and vehicles towards Orchard.

Photo of the floats taken inside the taxi.
Based on the attached map the place is behind Park Mall, but when the taxi makes a turn behind Park Mall, there were no road leading to Fort Canning. Luckily i remembered that you need to enter from the road behind Central Fire Station to reach ROM and then The Legends.
Finally reached The Legends and saw my 3rd auntie and cousin came out of the taxi. The wedding dinner was not held inside a banquet hall but under a huge tentage with a nice view of Orchard @ night. A very romantic atmosphere an unlike other wedding dinners.
Managed to catch up with my cousin, the groom clad in military Number 1 suit as he was an army regular. I then went on to catch up with my other relatives. I was sited on the same table previously with my 3rd auntie and 3rd uncle families, best siting between 2 cousins of my age.
Soon the wedding ceremony started and the very handsome groom in Number 1 and his gorgeous bride walked down the aisle towards the stage. As the dining area was outdoors and shaped like a rectangle, it was a long walked towards the stage. Guess the main purpose to have it outdoors, so they can have a slow romantic walk, with relatives and friends cheering them.

Finally up on stage.

Ushered to the table for dinner to be served.
After having served half of the dinner, the couple make their way to change their attire. Soon they returned to pop the champagne to twine their arms and drink. Lovely !!

Families, relatives and friends are invited upstage to do a YUM SENG !!!

After yum seng, the mood was more relaxed as the newly wed would be going each tables to have their photos taken. I took this oppotunity to tkae photo of this balloon father and son.

Yang Yang with my 2 beautiful cousins, Jean and Joana.

Xuan Xuan, me and Joana trying to get the perfect shot once.

Finally on the second shot.

Chong Chong and I.

The next generation for us to get married, stress !!!

Me, Ah Leng Kor Kor, Jean and Joana.

Me, Joana, Jean with Jeans younger brother and sister Kai Wei and Wan Jun.

Cycling @ Bishan Park
Tuesday met Royston and planned to cycle around Bishan Park. Met at Bishan MRT station and had a long work to the park.
The rental for 1h is $8 and $12 for 2h. We chose to rent for 2hs. After cycling awhile, decided to take a rest near the Bishan state.

Lying down on the ground taking photos of the beautiful clouds.

Climbing a rope obstacle in the middle of the park, quite high.

Dinner at AMK S11, nope not Japanese food. I tried the Thai stall and ate Tom Yum with Pineapple rice. Not bad must try.
All Getai fans should get "881" DVD, the movie was so sad especially the ending. Life's short.

The first ever movie I seen. Another Hui's classic. Took me a long time for me to hunt this show.
